The most decorated American Athlete of all time, Michael Phelps, is about to add one more to the mix. 

Phelps is about to expand his family with a third child.

The 33-year-old swimmer posted an Instagram photo on Sunday revealing his wife Nicole Johnson is expecting their third child.

The Olympian first met his future wife at the 2007 Espy Awards.

They began their relationship in 2009. 

The two did split in 2012 in advance of the Summer Olympics, at which Michael won four gold and two silver medals, making him the most successful swimmer that year and the most decorated Olympian ever.

He announced a temporary retirement following the London games, and renewed his relationship with the former Miss California in 2014.

Life appears to be good for Mr. and Mrs. Phelps.
