Sixers head coach Brett Brown says that's how many shots second-year guard Markelle Fultz put up this summer working with trainer Drew Hanlen on the west coast.
If you do the math, assuming that is over a few months span, Markelle would be averaging roughly around 2000 shots a day? That doesn't even seem possible.
There's trusting the Process, and then maybe overdoing the process. No one needs to take 2000 shots a day to become a good shooter. 500 will probably do the trick.
Fultz did crack ESPN’s Top 100 list for the upcoming season. The youngster comes in at No. 93 on the list. Although he was left off SI's list.
