Patriots owner and longtime Trump supporter, Robert Kraft, took some shots at the President during a confidential NFL meeting on the National Anthem protests.

Kraft admitted Trump was using the protests as fodder and called that bad for America.

The New York Times got their hands on some secret audio from what was supposed to be a confidential meeting and here is the transcript from what Kraft had to say.

The New England Patriots owner Robert K. Kraft pointed to another “elephant in the room.”

“This kneeling,” he said.

“The problem we have is, we have a president who will use that as fodder to do his mission that I don’t feel is in the best interests of America,” said Kraft, who is a longtime supporter of Mr. Trump’s. “It’s divisive and it’s horrible.”

Kraft is going to have to send his pal an apology for this one, or face the possibility of a Presidential Twitter attack.  Nobody wants that.

It will be entertaining if Trump catches wind of this and starts returning shots at his longtime friend.
