Quarterback Nick Foles’ time in Philadelphia is all but over.  Whether he hits the market as a free agent or the Eagles pickup his option and trade him, he’ll likely be on another team.

If Foles has any say over where he ends up, he would prefer to be on a team that will let him start next season.

Via ESPN:

“Yeah, like I said, I would love to lead a team,” Foles said. “The starter thing, leading a team, impacting a locker room … that’s why we play the game, to impact people, to create an atmosphere.”

Foles has definitely earned an opportunity to start with his play over the past couple of seasons.  The opportunity to start should probably come in Philadelphia, but that is highly unlikely.

It will be the Eagles loss, especially when Carson Wentz goes down with another injury.
