Nadal defeated his fierce rival 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(3) in an epic second-round match at the All England Club.

The heated match was full of controversy, none more so than when Kyrgios lashed a ferocious forehand directly at the chest of Nadal. He refused to apologize.

“Why would I apologize? I mean, the dude has got how many Slams, how much money in the bank account?” Kyrgios said. “I think he can take a ball to the chest, bro. I’m not going to apologize to him at all.”

The world No 2 responded by holding a death stare at Kyrgios for a good five seconds.

After the match, Kyrgios gave a brutally honesty press conference before leaving the grounds and heading straight out to party.

While drinking, the Australian did an Instagram Live video and his brother joined on a split-screen from a different location.

Christos then proceeded to call Nadal a “f****** p****” while Kyrgios continuously referred to the Spaniard as ‘Ralf’.

The 24-year-old even admitted to mocking his opponent at several times during the game.

“Bro every time he hit a good shot I turned to my box and was like ‘yep, goodbye Ralf’,” Kyrgios said.

Watch below:

Kyrgios spent much of the match, which was contested on Centre Court, complaining about Nadal’s speed of play. His constant complaining led him to an official warning, before he branded the chair umpire “a disgrace.”

Kyrgios wants to be the bad boy so bad, but it feels forced.

Or maybe he and his brother are just not good dudes.

That could be the case.
