XFL commissioner Oliver Luck sat down with NPR recently to discuss the new professional football league.  He was asked during the interview about former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, specifically why he’s not in the league.

As Luck stated back in December, Kaepernick’s high salary demands are the reason he’s not on an XFL roster.  He’s certainly good enough to play in the league and his name would bring a ton of added buzz.

But as Luck explains, the XFL just doesn’t have the amount of money right now to invest in one player.
