Up and coming UFC fighter Maycee Barber took care of business on Friday night at UFC Boston. The 21-year-old defeated Gillian Robertson in the first round of their flyweight bout via referee stoppage.
After the fight, Barber had her sights set on her next opponent. She called out Paige VanZant from inside the octagon, even telling UFC president Dana White to put the fight together.
Clearly Barber is trying to make a name for herself. It’s not a bad strategy, especially for a female fighter. A name outside of the octagon can open up a ton of opportunities.
