The blockbuster three team trade between the Dodgers, Red Sox and Twins, that would send Mookie Betts to the Dodgers, fell apart after the Red Sox took issue with the medical review of one of the prospects included in the trade.

Despite the original deal falling apart, the Red Sox remain focused on trading Betts to the Dodgers.  They may have to do so without the Twins, who are reportedly ready to pull out of the deal.

If a new trade can’t be worked out, the Red Sox could engage in trade talks with other teams including the Padres.
