Red carpets and glamorous dresses will be traded in for webcams and high-speed internet connections on June 21st during the two-hour broadcast hosted by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Seattle Storm guard Sue Bird and U.S. women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe.
Bird and Rapinoe are partners and share a home, easing some of the logistics.

The coronavirus pandemic made a large gathering for the award show impossible, so it is being re-imagined to fit the current sports climate.
The goal will be to alert award-winners in real time so audiences watching on television can watch their live reaction.
