The Warriors traded D’Angelo Russell to the Timberwolves on Thursday for Andrew Wiggins. The 23-year-old only played in 33 games for Golden State after signing a $117 million max deal in the before the season.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke to the media about the trade on Friday and admitted that Russell’s fit with the Warriors was a questionable one.
Russell’s friend in Minnesota, Karl-Anthony Towns is happy about the trade. Keeping him happy seems to be the Timberwolves number one priority.
