The Saints currently don’t have a quarterback on their roster.  Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill are all free agents.

While Brees has to decide whether or not he wants to retire, Hill made it pretty clear in a recent interview where he stands with New Orleans.  He would love to return, but only if the Saints view him as a franchise quarterback.

Hill has made his money in the NFL at a variety of positions, but not exclusively as a quarterback.  He’s played on special teams, lined up as a fullback, tight end, receiver and on rare occasion as a quarterback.

But he sees himself as a quarterback, not just any quarterback, a franchise quarterback.  Hill says he’s prepared to leave the Saints if they don’t view him the same way.
