The chances Dak Prescott isn’t in a Cowboys uniform next season are slim to none.  The team briefly met with the quarterback’s agent on Wednesday for the first time since September about a long-term contract.

Even if a new deal, which is expected to be in the $35 million range annually, doesn’t get done,  the Cowboys can and will franchise tag Prescott.  So he will be running the offense next season which is exactly what new head coach Mike McCarthy wants.
