Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s relationship has been rocky at times. Back in 2017 it reportedly came to a head when the two were discussing a contract extension.
The two couldn’t see eye to eye during the meeting. Brady wanted a longterm deal so that he could retire as a Patriot and Belichick refused to give him one.
The meeting reportedly ended with a “blowup.” That was the beginning of the two parting ways.
