With the Women’s Football World Cup taking place this summer, it is fair to say that many countries around the world have gone crazy over women’s football. We’ve seen both highs and lows at the tournament, and many of those involved have received high praise for their skills. However, many of them have also received praise for the way they look and, on that theme,, here is a look at the top 10 best looking female football players.

1. Alex Morgan

Not only a star striker on the field for the USA, but this is a lady who certainly catches the eye off the field. Morgan led the USA to victory at the 2019 World Cup, to further enhance her profile as a footballing superstar. Many people will have placed wagers on the USA winning the tournament as they were the favourites, and this site compares the best new bookmakers for the Women’s football around the world for those looking to get involved.

3. Nayeli Rangel

27 year old Rangel represents her country Mexico as well as playing club football in that country for Tigres UANL after previously spending time playing in both Spain and the USA. She is closing in on 100 caps for her country and perhaps the only thing stopping her from being more well-known is the fact that Mexico are still developing their women’s football team.

4. Selina Wagner

Although not a full international with the German team, there is no doubt that Selina Wagner is one of the most well-known German women footballers, although that is all thanks due to a different kind of publicity. Wagner was involved in a Playboy photoshoot before the 2011 Women’s World Cup final, earning her more fame than her actually playing abilities.

5. Sydney Leroux

Although Leroux was born in Canada and played for them at youth level, she eventually decided to play for Team USA and has 77 caps for them. She hasn’t been around the national team since 2017, but her club career continues to go strong with the Orlando Pride in the NWSL. One cool fact about Leroux is that before choosing to play for Team USA, her mixed nationality background made her eligible to play for eight different countries.

6. Lauren Sesselmann

Sesselmann is coming towards the end of her footballing career but still attracts attention when on the field. In her past she has played 46 times for Canada and played a big part in their success during the past decade, which includes an Olympic bronze medal.

Best of the Rest

Two more Canadiens, Kaylyn Kyle & Jonelle Filigno alongside two Americans, Amy Rodriguez & goalkeeper Hope Solo round off the top 10 and have all been in the spotlight for both their beauty and playing abilities in recent years.
