As arguably the face of college football, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence has a large platform.

The rising junior and likely No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft used that platform to speak out against “injustice” Friday afternoon.

Lawrence, who has 85,000 Twitter followers, sent out a pair of tweets on Friday, presumably in response to George Floyd’s death.

Floyd, an unarmed black man, died in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Monday after being handcuffed by officers.

Video came out later showing an officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck for several minutes while Floyd cried out that he couldn’t breath.
