UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton’s parents released a statement on his behalf about his devastating knee injury. In the statement they reveal that blood flow has been restored to his leg, but he has an injury to his nerve.
The Miltons also revealed that he will have reconstructive surgery on his knee at a later date.

That’s a very tough injury. Milton has a long road of recovery ahead of him and still may never play football again.
Milton will still be cheering on UCF this weekend as they take on Memphis in the American Athletic Conference title game. Freshman quarterback Darriel Mack Jr. will get the start.
