The UFC’s new welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, really wants to throw down with former interim welterweight champ Colby Covington.  Following his win over Tyron Woodley at UFC 235 on Saturday, Usman and Covington exchanged words.

Covington did a lot of trash talking leading up to Saturday’s UFC 235 co-main event between Usman and Woodley.  He felt like he should have been fighting for the belt, now he’ll get his chance.  Assuming these two can keep their hands off of each other before they step foot into the octagon.

Usman isn’t a fan of Covington’s and can’t wait to get his hands on him.  According to TMZ Sports, the two almost came to blows inside a casino on Sunday.

They were broken up and escorted away, but this time around … there weren’t as many security guards on hand to keep them separated near the A.Y.C.E. buffet in the Palm. The scene is pretty tense, as there were women and children around.

Check out the clip — it’s hard to tell who the initial aggressor was, but it looks like Kamaru’s camp, including UFC manager Ali Abdelaziz, really tries to go in and attack Colby — who circles back to get closer to Kamaru as punches are thrown by Ali … but don’t really connect.

Someone needs to explain to these two that it’s going to work out much better for them if they wait until they’re getting paid before throwing hands.  It seems pretty straightforward, but I feel like in this case it must be said, fighting for free isn’t good for the bank account.
