Jason Witten was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday and the talk of the event was his new bald look.  The Dallas Cowboys tight end showed up to the event without the hairpiece he was wearing last season in the Monday Night Football booth.

Witten’s hair had been thinning during his career, but made a major comeback when he joined Monday Night Football.  Many had assumed that he had hair restoration surgery or something like that done.  It turns out it might have just been a hairpiece, which as far as hairpieces go wasn’t a bad looking one.

But that must have been his commentator look, because here he is at Saturday’s induction ceremony with a very bald head.  This must be his football guy look.

During the ceremony Witten spoke about his decision to come out of retirement and join the Cowboys.  According to the 36-year-old, he still has a desire to go after a championship.  He also added that “the fire was still burning so hard inside to compete.”

Maybe Witten did have hair restoration after all.  The burning inside could have been too hot and burned his hair off.  Crazier things have happened.
