The UFC have cancelled three fight night shows amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The highly-anticipated UFC 249 event headlined by Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson is the promotion’s next scheduled show and the UFC president insists the stacked card will go ahead despite the global pandemic.

The New York Athletic Commission officially nixed the Brooklyn-planned event with White claiming the fight will likely happen outside of America.

Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson has fallen through four times since 2015 and their fifth meeting is in danger of being cancelled, too, though the UFC boss is confident of the bout coming to fruition.
