This season, a scrappy underdog team gave SKA a run for its money, but in the end, corruption may have ruled the day.

The KHL is considered the top professional hockey league after the NHL. Despite its many warts, corruption and scandal, the KHL has the best talent not in the NHL. Of course there’s going to be shadiness going on with Putin. He’s all about control. Is anyone surprised?
