LSU issued a denial that Odell Beckham Jr. was handing out money to their players after the National Championship game. Despite there being video of the exchange with at least two players, LSU claimed that the money was fake.
That’s not the case according to Joe Burrow (I know shocking). The Heisman Trophy winning quarterback made a drunken appearance on “Pardon My Take” hours after defeating Clemson and said the money was real.
While being interviewed by the also drunken podcast hosts, PFT and Big Cat, Burrow admitted the money OBJ was seen handing out to LSU players was real. He also that he took some of it.
Obviously if Burrow was returning to LSU that would be a violation of NCAA rules. The other players who took the money, if they’re planning to return to LSU, likely violated the rules.
