It was backup quarterback Nick Foles who called for the trick play on 4th down of the Super Bowl that scored a critical touchdown before halftime.

Foles was heard suggesting the Eagles run “Philly Philly” to head coach Doug Pederson.  Not the other way around.

Sure Pederson had to okay the play, but he’s not exactly the play calling genius he was being crowned after the play.

Foles called his own number in a critical spot in the Super Bowl.  The legend of Nick Foles grows even larger in Philadelphia with this bit of audio.
