A’s draft pick Kyler Murray may not be in attendance at Oakland’s Spring Training this year. He might be preparing for the NFL Draft instead.
That doesn’t mean there won’t be a quarterback participating in Spring Training this year. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will attend Yankees Spring Training again this spring.

Wilson attended Yankees camp last year and even got an at-bat in a game. He has to keep those baseball skills sharp just in case that football thing doesn’t work out.
The Yankees enjoy the extra circus that goes along with an NFL quarterback attending camp.
