Pitcher Jack Flaherty spent the 2018 season, his first full season in the MLB, in the St. Louis Cardinals rotation.  The right-hander started 28 games and finished with an 8-9 record and a 3.38 ERA.  He had 180 strikeouts in 151 innings of work.

A pretty decent first season in the MLB and despite the fact that the Cardinals missed out on the playoffs, he’s probably doing just fine.  Because Flaherty gets to spend more time with his girlfriend Jenna Berman.

The postseason is highly overrated.
