White Sox players Jose Abreu, Yoan Moncada and his brother-in-law Yonder Alonso FaceTimed Manny Machado over the weekend at SoxFest. The young stars are hoping Machado chooses to join them in Chicago.
One of those young stars, second baseman Yoan Moncada, was asked about the FaceTime session and said they told Manny they would be “glad” if he signed with the White Sox.

If him signing with the White Sox will make his friends “glad” and he hasn’t already signed, will anything get him to join them in Chicago? Manny appears to be giving the Yankees every opportunity to sign him.
If the Yankees really wanted him and miss out they have nobody to blame but themselves.
